One Heart

This is the tree trunk of a beautiful large weeping cherry tree in my yard that died suddenly. As I removed the dead branches, I could see the emerging narrative of two figures sharing a common body. I would still prefer the live tree I had before, but at least its beauty was transformed into another pleasing form.
